Healthy Roots Garden Camp is a fun way to add adventure to your child's summer. The Garden provides a safe place for children to explore and thrive by naturally inspiring wonder, curiosity, and opportunities for learning and fun.
Campers will spend their week immersed in the delights of a working garden. They will connect with the plants, learn to cook and eat from the garden, explore native habitats and cultures, create arts and craft, make new friends and spend their summer days outdoors. Each week is full of creative, hands-on activities that will nurture a life-long appreciation of the outdoors, build healthy habits, and create lasting friendships. |

Junior Garden Educators
School Garden Network also welcomes rising 6th - 12th graders to participate as Junior Garden Educators. Junior Garden Educators will join a camp group, assist the Garden Educator, and engage with younger campers in a fun and productive way. This program provides youth with the skills and experience needed to be leaders and outdoor educators. There is a certificate upon completion. Teens will need to fill out a short application, as this is a competitive position. Space is limited to only 5 junior educators each week.

Help a Child Attend Garden Camp
COVID-19 Information
School Garden Network will:
-Enforce strict Programs Protocols including:
-Requiring camp participants to submit a health questionnaire prior to being allowed to participate in camp; conduct a medical screening each morning upon arrival at camp; physical distancing, including limiting our group sizes (cohorts) and strictly restricting any mixing or co-mingling between cohorts; tailoring camp activities to limit close contact or the sharing of tools or other equipment; promoting and enforcing regular hand washing; conducting regular cleaning and sanitizing of our shared spaces; and having strict guidelines and procedures for suspected cases of COVID-19.
-Carpooling is only encouraged between participants from the same cohort
-Staggering drop off and pick up times to avoid mixing of participants from separate cohorts.
-A full description of all Programs Protocols will be sent to each family no less than 2 weeks prior to the start date of their camp session. Families will be asked to sign a commitment to abide by these protocols as a condition of their participation in Garden Camp.

CANCELLATION and CHANGE POLICY
You will be eligible for a full refund (minus a $50 processing fee) if your Garden Camp cancellation is made at least 6 weeks before the Program start date. Cancellations received with less than 6 weeks' notice WILL NOT be eligible for a refund unless a replacement is available to take your spot. If you would like to reschedule your program, a $50 processing fee will be charged and changes will be accommodated only when there is space available.
