Healthy Roots connects Common Core concepts with healthy eating through garden based learning!

We offer consultation packages, professional development training, and family nutrition workshops!

Healthy Roots participants:
  • Engage in cross-curricular Common Core project-based garden lessons.
  • Grow their own foods in school gardens.
  • Learn about food systems. 
  • Prepare and Eat fresh, whole foods.
  • Gain better access to locally grown crops. 
  • Become the next generation of empowered and healthy eaters!
Schools and parent groups can: 
  • Bring us to your school! We offer a free intake followed by consultation packages for all levels of school garden programs.
  • Attend our educator professional development workshops.  (CEU credits available)
  • Hire us to lead onsite family cooking and meal planning workshops. (coming soon!)
Food Literacy builds positive relationships with food
