Farm Field Trips

Farm Field Trips

School Garden Network offers farm field trips for grades TK-8th. We coordinate with both teachers and farmers to match classrooms with a working farm. Our field trips offer children the unique experience to tour and get their hands dirty! We typically take one classroom at a time and split into small groups upon arriving at the farm so that children can engage in activities ranging from feeding chickens and making floral bouquets to harvesting vegetables  and cooking them up on the spot. For the past two years, we have been able to provide field trips to Sonoma County Schools thanks to a generous grant from CDFA. If you are interested in going on a farm field trip, please reach out to us for a cost estimate.

SPECIAL THANKS
to our farm hosts for providing our students this amazing experience!
