About the event
Join School Garden Network for an inspiring day of learning, tasting, and connection! Discover creative Harvest of the Month lesson plans that bring subjects like botany, social studies, nutrition, and gardening to life—both in the classroom and out in the garden. We’ll share seasonal, standards-aligned curriculum and show you how to weave farm-to-school education into your existing teaching with hands-on tips for growing, harvesting, cooking, and tasting local produce. Plus, you’ll get to sample the bounty of late Summer in Sonoma County with a farm-fresh vegetarian lunch shared amongst peers.
Leave the day feeling refreshed, supported, and ready to make this year your most meaningful garden-based learning year yet!
This workshop is made possible by the CDFA Farm to School Grant.
