Stefan is an expert on vermiculture waste to compost programs at schools, which divert food waste from landfills to onsite bins enriched with compost worms. This is an unique opportunity to blend practical knowledge with interdisciplinary garden-related programming, to share NGSS and other curriculum on soil science and microbiology through the grades, observe Conservation Work’s Waste Wizards Program in action, foster a commitment to living systems among young minds, and so much more.
