School Garden Network Grants
Because of generous support from businesses, individuals and organizations, SGN is able to offer two grant programs that help enhance and sustain local school gardens - Cooking from the Garden, and Garden-Based Education.
Grants are generally offered every other year in January to new applicants. When we have sufficient funding, we offer multi-year grants under the Garden-Based Education program. All grantee schools receive financial, material and mentoring support from SGN, and are required to complete progress reports for continued funding.
Our next cycle for new schools to apply will begin January 2013.
